Designed for transporting or storing FTA Classic, Mini and Micro Cards, these pouches have seven laminated layers that protect the card from exposure to gas or liquid contamination. Samples inside their pouches can be safely stored in any standard file cabinet or other laboratory specimen storage system for years without sample degradation. Whatman currently has more than 14 years of documented specimen storage history. When it's time to purify the DNA for downstream applications, simply remove the card from the pouch, and use a punch from the card for processing. The remainder of the card can be re-archived for future use. Each pouch includes a tamper-evident seal to maintain sample security, while the outer paper surface can be used for labeling or writing. The Small Multi-Barrier Pouches will hold both the FTA Mini and Micro Cards. The Large Multi-Barrier Pouch will hold a full-sized FTA Classic Card. Style: Large, 3.54" x 5.91", Pack of 100
