These multi-use jars are ideal for storing and drying evidence, or as a latent print powder jar. Bloody evidence, such as expended bullets, can be placed inside the jar just under the lid. The perforated insert allows the evidence to dry normally. The sifter insert can be taped down for evidence security while the item dries. When used for latent print powder, simply fill the jar with powder. When ready for use, flip the jar over before removing the lid to dispense powder into the sifter tray. Dip your brush into the tray to pick up the perfect amount of powder. Not only do you use less powder, but there is less mess. In addition, if there is ever an accident where powder is spilled, the sifter lid will severely limit the amount of powder that escapes. Available in 1oz and 2oz.
