It has been shown that DNA and other contaminants have the possibility of being introduced into a crime scene by reusing tools such as latent prints brushes at multiple crime scenes. With the growing importance of DNA evidence, it is increasingly vital that a crime scene remain as free from outside contaminants as possible.

Designed to be a clean and affordable solution to standard latent print dusting equipment, each kit arrives in a sealed box and includes everything needed to process latent prints at a crime scene. Each kit also includes an evidence seal and the box label includes a basic evidence label, in the event that your supplies need to be packaged and booked as evidence.

Each CleanSearch Standard Latent Print Kit includes the following:

• The Breeze Single-Use Fiberglass Brush: This inexpensive latent print development brush uses the same ultra-soft fibers that have been used in the standard Zephyr fiberglass brush for decades. Each brush is sterilized and hermetically sealed, so it is always free of contaminants the first time you use it.
• CleanSearch Black Disposable Powder Pack: Hermetically-sealed in a wide-mouth jar, each Latent Print Powder Pack includes 0.5oz of Lightning Black Fingerprint Powder. The wide-mouth jar makes insertion of a latent fingerprint brush simple.
• Lightning Lift Pads and Latent Print Backing Cards: Each kit includes a 4" x 4" Lightning Lift Pad and 25 White Latent Print Backing Cards. Lightning Lift Pads are the ideal size for most lifted latent prints and eliminates the need of bringing a roll of tape to the crime scene.
