With the advent of new, faster and more precise DNA testing, collecting evidence such as blood and body fluids from the scene of a crime is of prime importance. This evidence must be collected properly for accurate test results. Collected fluids such as blood and other bodily fluids must first be dried and should be kept separate from other evidence.
The Swab Dryer can be used to transport, contain and dry collected samples. The Swab Dryer measures 8" x 13-1/2" x 8-1/2" and includes a portable swab rack which can hold up to 20 swabs at one time. Non-skid feet on the bottom of the rack can be used when placing the dryer on a counter and two keyhole attachments on the back allow the unit to be wall mounted. An included timer reminds you when to take the swabs out. The fan motor for the unit is UL Certified also.
An optional carrying case, sold separately, can be used to transport the swab rack from the crime scene to the lab, protecting your samples.
