Cap-Shure protective swabs are tip-protected applicators designed for convenient, reliable DNA and evidence collection. Each sterile, cotton-tipped swab comes as an individually sealed unit with a resealable, ventilated cap for air-drying and transportation of fluid samples such as blood. After a sample has been collected, simply pull the cap to the end of the swab and seal. The cap protects the swab during handling at the crime scene and in transit back to the lab, and ensures there is no risk of cross-contamination from the swab during transit. Each cotton-tipped swab is sterile and hermetically sealed, so it remains clean until ready for use. Available with polystyrene or wooden stems.
