This economical standing magnifier is ideal for latent print examiners and training classes. It features a high quality 5x glass lens and sturdy metal housing. The 2.75" opening at the base allows for the use of ridge counters while performing comparisons or classifications. The rubber ring around the top protects prescription glasses against scratches and, for those people who don't wear glasses, it produces a comfortable housing for the eye, blocking out distracting light and motion. The maximum height of the magnifier is 3.75".
